Tan France, the fashion-forward host of Netflix’s Queer Eye and Next in Fashion takes Architectural Digest (AD) through his latest home renovation project as part of AD’s newest series titled, ‘Home at Last’. The home sits comfortably on top of a hill in Utah will wonderful views of the region’s rocky vistas.
Teaming up with design duo Tom Fox and Cara Fox of the Fox Group, Tan France’s home is designed to feel like everyone in the home has their own space. When designing the primary bedroom of the home, France says the bedroom should “feel like a retreat in the home that feels like you’re in the country”.
Despite the home covering a large stretch of land, it remains cosy and features charming fireplaces, bespoke detailing, and some of the finest hand-painted De Gournay wallpaper from Paris. Chandeliers adorn the ceilings and in true sartorial fashion, are coined the jewellery of the rooms they accessorise and illuminate.
