Interior designer Dean van Aswegen completely transformed the space of this Hyde Park home, doing away with existing parts that no longer worked, and still keeping the stand-out features intact. The windows were key to the design as Dean notes, “The floor-to-ceiling windows provide abundant natural light and an incredible sense of volume and space. The clients often travel, so it was important to design a house that radiates a calm, sanctuary-like atmosphere when they are home.” The different textural elements were important in creating this luxurious, yet unpretentious space.
The dining room itself features a custom-made marble dining table by Laterale Design, however we’ve rounded up a few items to help you recreate the space in your own home.
