Chilly nights and dark days be gone! Our obsession with these winter comforts has reached boiling point, and we can’t get enough
Setting the mood
When it comes to fireplaces, bigger really can be better. Case in point, Dominique Imbert of Focus designed the ‘Filiofocus Telescopic’ fireplace, illustrating that intimacy can be found even on an exaggerated scale. Here it’s captured in all its showstopping grandeur. But worry not, for the average home, a smaller version does exist! We were inspired by this beautiful image, and explored ways in which we can bring (and shop) a bit of heat home. Read on to discover some of our favour heating solutions this season.
Star player
We love the Eva Solo ‘Firebox’ standing fireplace. With such a show-stopping fire unit, there’s little doubt who the centre of attention will be this season.
Table guests
These sculptural candleholders ‘Stratos’ candleholders by OKHA are as beautiful as they are functional. With these around, they’ll definitely be the most beautiful guests on the table.
The side kicks
They might sit next to the fire, but these beauties are still a main attraction. We love the Knox’ firewood holder from Iconomy and the wood holder in cream from Calore.
Winter buddy
There’s nothing quite as comforting as a good old fashioned heater, which is why we love this little guy from Kambrook at Clicks. We especially love the unusual design, making it as cute as it is effective.
